Second Wind
Two boxes bounced, three parked, three fell — and the biggest fall came from the box nobody was watching.
The anniversary set kept leaking, the Ascended Heroes box cratered, and the two risers on the board are both bounces off lows rather than breakouts. In between, three boxes parked within a couple of dollars of last week — including the 30th Celebration Pokémon Center box, which printed $300.00 three times in six days.

The Weekly Movers

Journey Together Booster Box
The slide stopped. After sliding from around $300 in August, TCGPlayer sales stepped from $194.40 on Oct 17 to $204.95 on Oct 22, and the market followed to $204.61. One green week doesn't make a trend — but the floor finally held, and the box is back above $200 for the first time since Oct 2.

Surging Sparks Booster Box
Not a breakout — a bounce. One Oct 18 sale printed $279, the week's low, and the box climbed straight back: $293.61 on Oct 21, $299.99 on Oct 22, market at $295.71. Pikachu's box isn't running away; it just refused to stay down. Against Oct 17's $297, it's flat — call this a recovery until a second week confirms it.

Phantasmal Flames Booster Box
The Charizard box cooled a degree. Sales stepped down from $397.50 on Oct 17 to $391.66, then $384.34 on Oct 21, and the market sits at $392.72. After two weeks as the board's riser, Phantasmal Flames is taking a breather — still the priciest Mega Evolution box, just not climbing this week.

Destined Rivals Booster Box
The $400 line broke, quietly. Sales went $396.99 on Oct 17, dipped to $376.99 on Oct 18, then $389.00 twice on Oct 22–23; the market is at $388.62. Two weeks ago this box defended $400 all week. Now it defends $389. That's not a crash — it's a downstairs neighbor.

30th Celebration Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box
The premium found its couch. After cracking from $319 to $275 earlier in October, this box has now printed $300.00 on Oct 19, 24 and 25 — the same number three times — and the market sits at $293.10. A box that keeps printing the same price is a box that has found its level, at least until the Nov 6 UPC wave arrives.

151 Ultra-Premium Collection
The big box is coming back to earth. A $801.99 TCGPlayer sale on Oct 20, and the market now reads $767.99 — down from the $867.97 market of Oct 10 that PokeInsider flagged this week. Noisy box: sales bounced between $764 and $847 in ten days. But the direction is the story, and it's toward the $650 line PokeInsider's Caleb Nichols says he'd buy under.

30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box
Still sliding, one percent at a time. $138.90 on Oct 14, $128.40 on Oct 19, $120.95 on Oct 24; the market is at $118.40. From the Oct 11 board's $138.66, that's a third straight week down on this board — the anniversary's gravity hasn't let up, with the Nov 6 UPCs and Figure Collections still to come.

Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box
The week's crater. A $147.00 TCGPlayer sale on Oct 15 became $129.99 on Oct 20 — a tear-damaged box — and then a clean $120.00 on Oct 25; the market is at $120.81. Last month this was a $155–$161 box. Sam's Club bundles and steady supply did what no single headline could.
What the Board Is Telling Us
Read the eight rows together and it's a market catching its breath after a month of falling. The two risers are both recoveries, not breakouts — Journey Together bouncing off its own slide, Surging Sparks bouncing off a one-day dip. Nothing here is running away; everything that rose did so from a low.
The fallers are the real story, and they rhyme. The anniversary set keeps leaking — the standard 30th Celebration box is down a third straight week on this board — while the Ascended Heroes standard box cratered on steady supply. And the 151 Ultra-Premium Collection, the biggest box on the page, is quietly coming back toward earth after years of altitude.
The dip test
A bounce off a dip is not a breakout. Surging Sparks is up on the week only because one Oct 18 sale printed $279. Against Oct 17's $297, it's flat. The board counts the week; the note counts the trend. When a riser's whole story is one low sale, treat it as a recovery until a second week confirms it.
The premium test, part two
Two Pokémon Center boxes, two different weeks. The 30th Celebration version printed $300.00 on Oct 19, 24 and 25 — the same number three times, which is what a floor looks like. The Ascended Heroes version sagged from the Oct 11 board's $344.71 to $329.25 on sales pinned at $324–$325. Same shelf, different gravity.

How to Read the Numbers
The Takeaway
The market rhymes. Last week the story was rotation; this week it's gravity with two small bounces. The boxes that rose did so from lows, the boxes that fell did so on supply, and the boxes that held did so at round numbers — $300 for the anniversary premium, $389 for Destined Rivals.
And the two holders that matter most are the ones at round numbers. A price that prints the same figure three times in a week isn't stuck — it's agreed. Watch whether the 30th Celebration standard box stops falling before Nov 6, and whether Journey Together's bounce gets a second week. Those are the next two real tests.
